I think you are probably correct, it is terminology. The Works Suite that came bundled with my last computer and my moms had MS Word 2002 with it, along with Works 6.0, MS Money 2002 Standard, Streets and some other programs, however, they are all on the same CDs which are titled Works Suite 2002. So it is possible to have MS Word installed with the Works Suite that come bundled on a computer. I think you'll find that "Works Suite" is just the packaging of several separate products in one box - not a software product as such.
