I have just installed a new computer,on our network that has Windows XP. We are still using Word 97. When the user at this computer tries to access a file that is already opened, a dialog box appears and tells her she can not open this file...it is being used by another user. It does not give her the option to open a "copy" of the file as we are all used to receiving. I have installed six new WIN XP computers and this is the only one that responds to this specific situation in this way. Any thoughts or suggestions regarding this? ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.
