Linda's "black cloud" had a silver lining for me! As
a result of this thread, I followed Dian's link and
found some good tips, including one in particular
called "Meet the HTML pane" at

I was previously pretty sure I didn't have any
problems with my graphics, as I thought I'd used the
right techniques to avoid getting absolute references
to picture sources on my hard drive, but I thought I'd
try the tip on this page just for the hell of it - and
found around 500 (!!) problem pages. Luckily it was
in fact only 3 graphics that were in a shared bottom
border on 500 pages and I have now fixed them.
