What do you mean you are barred from posting, Ess? Your posts are
coming thru just fine.

Yeah, I would have to say I would suggest you upgrade to 2000 or 2002.
97 is really out of date anymore and Microsoft isn't going to be
supplying any fixes for it's problems anymore.

Since 2002 is now on the market, I assume you could find 2000 for a
decent price.

Or, if you can't, I would recommend you try Outlook Express instead of
Outlook 97...that's a free part of Internet Explorer and even that is
better than Outlook 97, I'm sorry to say.

I'm off to work now....see y'all later!!

Via Outlook, I just tried to send the following message, but again, it
did
not fly:

I am sending this without the rich text (I created a Contact for mso
and
unchecked the box for "Always send to this recipient in Microsoft
Exchange
rich-text format").

So even with the Rich Text disabled, I'm barred from posting.

I've got at least three more weeks to work this out (my AOL service
expires next month). So I guess it's time to upgrade to Office 2000
--??

Sorry for the annoying attachments; certainly wasn't intending to
send
them.
Ess
