This reply is to thank everyone who responded with their comments. There are a number of reasons why I am thinking of upgrading the office package. However, I am happy with win98se and have heard about too many horror stories re updates to win xp. New installations, XP is the one. Knowing that office 2002 will work without a problem in win 98SE is a big help.
