Yup...sorry...I NEVER do mail merges! Haven't in nearly 7 yrs. And on those
rare occasions that I need something from a DB...I have code to get what I
need.

field and not a Merge field...but hey...even you are allowed to not know

To be honest with you...I don't know how to use the Boolean logic in mail
merge cos' I would naturally do whatever I need through the use of
Access/ADO. Sorry...but I would write a VBA routine to pull whatever I
needed from the DB and then use those results. I'm really sad with mail
merge, otherwise. Cindy Meister is the Word MVP who we consider the mail
merge Queen (I'm the forms/documentation princess<g>).
