It's been a looooooong time since I've done this so I can't remember the
details, but I'm sure someone like Parker or somebody else who does this
stuff will chime in with that if you have any specific questions.

If my memory serves me right (and that's a BIG if), if you are using
Exchange server at work, you add an offline folder file to your accoune
(.ost), then you can synchronize this to something like your Windows
Briefcase and move it back and forth between the two machines.

Look in Outlook's help files for "offline folders" and it should give you
the steps for doing this

Subject: [mso] Synchronising Outlook

I want to be able to keep my office and my home outlook pst files in line.
At present, I receive everything on my office outlook leaving a copy on the
server. When I get home I receive it all again, but cannot leave things on
the server indefinitely as my ISP complains.

This works ok, but I have to power down my office machine at weekends (and
other times) so things soon get out of synch.

Is there a better way of doing this? Is there also a way of keeping the
folders and rules in line?

many thanks
Pete
