Hi!

wouldn't =C3*sum(B23:E23) give the desired result?

  Regards

  Greetings
I am having a spot of bother with a sumproduct. I know how to create one for
a list of figures that run either vertically or horizontally, but this is
where I get stuck.

If the figures are in the same direction, no problem, but what if they are a
mixture? ie; one set of figures is in a column and the other set is in a
row.

To help a bit more. Beginning in column C i have four figures starting in
C3 down to C6. Then I have four figures running from B23 to E23. Then I also
have have another three rows of figures below these.

C3 is to multiply the figures in row 23 (individually) then add them up

C4 is to multiply the figures in row 24 etc etc

110 180 270 320 Income 0 38 28 8 12 31 32 7 20 20 57 10
18 39 56 10

I have been using the long formula =(110*0)+(110*38)+(110*28)+(110*8)
=(180*12)+(180*31) etc

(Obviously using cell refs) I would just like to use the SP function and
replicate it.

Can anyone help please

Kindest regards

John
