Maybe it's a version thang! I'm using XP versions of Excel in Word. Did you paste the table into Word first? I got it all into Excel using this method, I then got rid of the extra returns between the names by doing some sort trickery. I could send you the sheet, but I guess that defeats the object :D let me know ASAP if you want me to send it! I'm just about to leave the office for the weekend. Did it work for you? Still doesn't work for me. -----Original Message----- From: David Good - ANSYS Europe [mailto:david.good@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, January 17, 2003 9:40 AM To: 'mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [mso] Re: Send the url please : Pasting data into excel, prob lem Not meaning to tread on any answers but in case this helps a little... Taking it via Word helps some in cases like this; you can then get copying a column at a time using paste special. The one problem I have here is that the name column has an extra return, so you get an extra blank line between items. The H/AB column pastes fine as long as you set the cell format to TEXT *before* you paste the data. HTH, otherwise I'm sure Jacques will fid you a good solution. Here's the URL. I'm trying to copy/paste the entire table on this page, the column that has the problem is the H/AB column.
