Warning: You aren't going to like this answer...
With the exception of WAV files, all media files added to a PPT =3D
presentation are linked, not embedded. If you really need to embed the
music, I =3D suggest you use a tool like Audacity to re-save the MP3 to =
a
WAV file. You will probably lower the quality of the music as well to
make it work. (Try lowering the bit rate and/or the stereo level.)

Another option is to use PFC Media to add the MP3 so that its links are

I am trying to embed two mp3 music files into power point so the music
will play on different computers when the power point show is played.

One song is 4.7 MB.
When I go to : Tools>Option>General>Link sounds with file size greater
than 5000 kb (is the highest this option will go.
Is there any way around this?
