With the exception of WAV files, all media files added to a PPT =
presentation
are linked, not embedded. If you really need to embed the music, I =
suggest
you use a tool like Audacity to re-save the MP3 to a WAV file. You will
probably lower the quality of the music as well to make it work. (Try
lowering the bit rate and/or the stereo level.)

Another option is to use PFC Media to add the MP3 so that its links are
unbreakable. More information on that at www.pfcmedia.com=20

Subject: [mso] Power Point Sound files

I am trying to embed two mp3 music files into power point so the music
will play on different computers when the power point show is played.

One song is 4.7 MB.
When I go to : Tools>Option>General>Link sounds with file size greater
than 5000 kb (is the highest this option will go.
Is there any way around this?
