Thank you everybody for your responses.

I have downloaded a trial copy of the Able2Extract and demo'd it to our
Finance Mgr, who is suitably impressed as I was.
I am confident that they will authorise a purchase within the next day or
so.

Certainly from what I saw in the trial, it will recoup the purchase price
within days compared to the man hours (or should be person hours these days)
that has been the case hitherto.

Does anybody have a solution to copying data from a PDF formatted report and
pasting into an excel spreadsheet, so that the individual data goes into
relevant cells.
Whereas a normal paste or paste special both dumps each line of values into
a single cell per row.
