[mso] Outlook deleting entries in calendar

Hi All,
I have noticed that whichever way I set my outlook xp calendar it still
deletes or seems to delete any old appointments which have passed their
date and time. I don't mind this for some but would rather keep others
and therefore I would like to choose for myself what I want to get rid
off so can someone tell me what I need to do to stop this behaviour.
