Hmph. Oh well, I'm off to Mexico - see you in 10 days! (and yes I will go
on vacation mode!)

Not sure which version of Outlook you are using, but I've seen these
*bugs* in 2000 a lot, a little less in 2002, and it seems even less in
2003...finally in 2003, my Views seem to stick ONLY on the folders where I
apply them....but, you probably aren't missing anything, Anne...you've
just bumped into one of Outlook's bugs that has plagued a lot of us for a
long time :-(

Subject: [mso] Outlook - customised views and filters

I am tearing my hair out - a few days ago I was foolish enough to apply a
customised (filtered) view on one of my subfolders. I then removed it
once I had finished the task concerned. Now though the customised view
seems to be still applied to a great number of other folders (even though
it had only been applied to one subfolder in the first place). I have
checked in View> Current View> Define Views but I can't find there or
anywhere else anything that tells me how I might have applied it to more
than one folder originally, much less how to remove it - any ideas?

Anne
