Yep OE is fine.

 

Then, I found this reply in one of the Outlook news groups:

 

"No matter, I solved it! I deleted the first message in my account (which

spam anyway) and the rest of my messages downloaded! I can't believe it was

something so simple!"

 

So...can you get to your mail via a web interface and delete the first one?



I have no problem downloading my emails, I can't send them, the "test account 
settings" works fine & sends this email but no other emails will get sent.
