[mso] Outlook PST File

Maybe I'm missing something (as usual) here. I just exported all my messages
to a backup pst file. So I went and deleted all the messages within Outlook.
However the outlook.pst is still huge. (160mb) Would not getting rid of all
those messages shrink that file? Or does something else have to happen?
