Thanks...I was afraid that's what you would say:)

So, to follow up...what if I want/need both bulleted AND non-bulleted text
on a slide (e.g., an intro paragraph to a bullet list) and want it all to
show in outline view?  If I use a bulleted list placeholder I can certainly
do as you suggest and delete the bullet for the part that is non-bulleted
text, but then the 2nd and subsequent lines of that paragraph won't wrap
properly.  If I move the settings on the ruler to wrap those lines after the
1st, then the bullets get messed up.

Am I missing something or is it that I simply can't do what I would like to
do?
