Oh...I guess I got your email confused with someone else's who said they
were running Office 2k and Office 2k2 together and Word kept running the
Windows Installer....since you didn't include ANY history with your post
that said "Re the win installer........A simple removal of office and a
re-install did the trick......thx....bill"  I didn't have a clue what you
were talking about...and I guess I still don't...but since you said it's
fixed, I guess it doesn't matter.

But it really does make it hard to figure out what you are replying to when
you don't include any history.

Aha...I just found your original post and here's what it said..."After
installing office 2000 back into my 'puter after a fresh install of
xp'...and THAT'S what made me think you meant Office XP and not Windows XP.

See how confusing this all can get when you use terms like "xp" instead of
"windows xp" or "office xp"...and then reply without history?  Even I don't
know what the hell I'm talking about now ROFL

Sorry...I don't have office xp.Its office 2000 pro.The operating system is
X.P.Pro. It works ok on word,excel and power point.I am getting the windows
installer only on Access now which I very rarely use.It worked great as a
team and suddenly  I'm getting these install messages after re-installing
everything last weekend.
