A) Boy, Anne....I sure wish I knew a way to do that...if I did, it would be
in the Rules section for this group...cuz you ain't the only one who's
filling my inbox with those messages...but it's ok...since I have a rule to
move all of them to a certain folder, I just look thru them when I get a
chance to see if there's anything legitimate I need to deal with in there,
like somebody trying to send a post with one of the no-no words in it.
Unfortunately, I can't help you with that one. I'm sure, if it could be
done, it would require VBA or something, and I'm clueless.

B) Well this one seems pretty consistent to me...and I'm using plain
text....so maybe that's why...I guess to see if it's the text format that
causes it not to work, you would have to play around with it, using the
different formats. But, it sure works in plain text. The only time it
doesn't work is if I cap more than TWO letters or if the word only has two
letters IN it. And that's by design. By the way, I'm using Outlook plain
text and I do NOT use Word as my email editor.

C) You can use Net Folders to share a calendar via the Internet...but no,
it's NOT simple, and it's definitely a workaround, using email...and yes,
using a Yahoo calendar would indeed be easier and probably closer to what
you actually want...but here's the info on Net Folders:

Hope you have a nice long weekend

Subject: [mso] New Outlook Rules question

Query for you to mull over the weekend as I will be out of the office on
Friday and time zone stuff will probably mean many of you don't see this
stuff until I'm near the end of my day!

Is it possible in Outlook Rules (I'm not using Exchange BTW):

a) to set a rule which applies a certain Internet POP3 Account to certain
recipients - ie if I type *mso* in my To box, will it automatically choose
the right account to send from so that Linda and I don't get bombarded with
messages saying that I have mailed from an un5b5rbed account?

b) to autocorrect consistently when I miss initial caps (usually on my own
name!) - it does this some of the time but not always. Is this another
feature of mail format features (eg rich text vs HTML)?

Further enquiry. Has anybody got experience of publishing calendar details
(pref for more than one user) on an internet site? Is it worth pursuing
this or would it be easier to set up a sharable calendar on Yahoo (which
would be my preference for now?).

Living in hope of easy, understandable answers for which I will be eternally
grateful!

Anne
