You'll have two versions. But since the updated number is AFTER the
period...it means it's not a major update, so you shouldn't notice much
different...cos' it'll just be a bug fix versus adding new objects, like
what happened from ver 5 to 6 (Word 97 to Word 2000).

Subject: [mso] New Computer

Hi everyone,

I posted a message some time ago about moving office 2000 to my new
computer. I'm finally about to take the plunge and try an install.

I noticed though that if I open up woed 2002 wich came on the computer and
the vba editor, help/about says vba is version 6.3 there. if I do the same
on my trusty old 350 Mhz machine it says version 6.0.

Does anyone know what version I will be running after I move office 2000 to
the new computer please? Will I have 2 versions going, depending on which
copy of word I open or just 6.0 or just 6.3... or will it average out to
6.15 :-?

Regards
Lisa
