Thanks! Huh? Anyone else using Office 2000 who can click on the Outlook
Today customization button...and nothing happens???

Linda...could you please click Help/About on that 2000 machine and see what
version, exactly, you have...specifically the patched version number.

Thanks!

Ok...this is weird...I never use that "Customize Outlook Today" button so I
don't know what it looks like in ANY version...so, I went into my machine
that has Outlook 2000 on it and I clicked on "Customize Outlook Today" and
absolutely NOTHING happened...I kept clicking and clicking and nothing...so,
unfortunately, I can't answer your question

But, I CAN tell you that if you go to Tools>Options and click on the "Other"
tab, then click on the Advanced Options button, there's a dropdown in there
where you can choose which folder you want Outlook to open in, And Outlook
Today is one of the choices...and that's the same in 2000, 2002, and 2003.

That's all I can tell you though.

Subject: [mso] Need Outlook 2000 command

Hi folks...

Just fine tuning my Outlook 2000 user manual for a lesson I'll be teaching
next week and realized I need to add the command to set the default in
Outlook to open within Outlook Today.

Since I can't have more than one version of Outlook on my system, and only
have 2003 here, I'd appreciate it if someone could just verify for me that
2000 uses the same setting.

If you click Customize Outlook Today (while in Outlook Today view), is the
setting to startup in Outlook Today on the same screen within the Outlook
Today customization setting?

I believe it is...but don't have that version to confirm. So if someone
using OL 2000 could just verify this for me, I'd appreciate it!

Cheers!
