True, Publisher CAN work well...IF you are careful. I publish my the HTML version of TechTrax using Publisher and I've also posted it to the web...it's worked out great. Can't remember if I printed it, but I assume it would be good there, too. Here's an old sample issue of the online version. http://www.mousetrax.com/techtrax/monthlys/techtrax_april2003.htm But to be honest with you, I think the problem is that you went nuts customizing the template and got yourself in trouble. I didn't have time to mess with the format, so I used a very basic format with just a few textboxes. Whereas in yours, it showed up with a PILE of tables. Not just cells...but tables all over the play...and as I mentioned, it showed about 12 unnamed layers. So my suggestions would be to use Publisher, but start fresh with a new template from the gallery and GO EASY on the customization, particularly if you can't read the underlying code. I'd also suggest you read some of the HTML/Web related articles that David Bartosik (Publisher MVP) has posted here. http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMFrame.asp?CMD=ArticleSearch&AU TH=27 Good luck! I've hear this over and over from people about how the codes get messed up in Word, etc. Got any suggestions on a product that works for both, print and html? It's also weird that parts of it are just perfect and then the one area wherethey go wacko. I can also use CuteFTP to upload and see if it was Dreamweaver that made it aprobem but I think it's probably Publisher and how it converts it. So if wecan figure out what code I need to correct when it converts it, then I can just do that every month, if I have to. Thanks for trying to make my life a bit easier...~Sue ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Dian D. Chapman" dian@xxxxxxxxxxxxx[1] Yeah, and one problem I see by pulling the HTML into Dreamweaver, is that there are about 12 unnamed layers in the doc! YIKES! And I do see the problem...the right cell goes about 2 feet across the page! I had to scroll about 30 seconds to grab that end. I'd hoped if I could pull it in, I could see what code would be reset...but it won't come in!?!?! Sorry...very hard to figure this one out and I can't spend more time on this now. Dian D.
