Sure is a weird one. There is plenty of memory in these machines, for
example mine has 1GB of RAM and a Paging File size of 2000-3042MB. The
issue is happening on all PC's which have both 'DOCS Open' and 'IPFX for
Outlook' installed. Disabling either the ExchEIM.module (DOCS open
integration with Outlook) or uninstalling 'IPFX for Outlook' takes the
error away. Maybe some sort of conflict between the two? The add-in
error comes up for each email that is selected, eg. 200 emails will
bring up 200 errors. Interestingly while these errors come up no other
application can be launched and Task Manager won't even come up. You
can't close out of Outlook either. The only thing that can be done is
Enter or Esc through the hundreds of error messages until they stop or
hold the PC's power button in, switching the computer off. It's very
strange.=20

This is a baffler for sure.  I just did a search at google on
excheim.dll and the ONLY thing that came up was my reply in this group
four years ago. I'm gonna poke around some other places and see if I can
find more....but it sure looks like it's related to memory
usage....maybe more ram in those machines?  Is this happening on
multiple machines or one machine in particular?

Hi Claudia,

Not being an expert or anything (perhaps I shouldn't reply then :P ) I
think the key thing is 1. Selecting large amount 2. Error message saying
out of memory or system resources

Perhaps you are running out of memory when you select a large amount of
emails, and therefore need to free up some more memory before selecting
large amount of emails or you need to not select a large amount of
emails

If this is the case then it is beyond the scope of this group, but you
can try looking for virtual memory settings by right clicking on you're
my computer and searching for the virtual memory option (in advanced)
and release more memory, or clean up your computer a bit so that it
isn't holding onto so much baggage

Or there is a real problem, and I'm too new to know :P
