Thanks, Priyanka, but the tutorial only dealt with mail merging of documents and simply mentions that mail merge can be used for envelopes but does not go through how to do that. The video tutorial I watched from Lynda.com did go through mail merging of envelopes but following the steps in that tutorial didn't help as I mentioned - it still produced the same result.
