Having been out of the office yesterday myself, it looks like everybody else has jumped to your rescue, Pam! Good luck with it - you will find Publisher quite powerful and fun to use if you persevere and follow all these useful tips. It will display craft supplies, and will probably end up being 100-150 pages long. Each page will contain as many items on it as the page will comfortably hold. It is my understanding that we are going to print out one copy and take this copy to the printer who will compile it into a real book. Actually, the reason I looked at Publisher is because it is the only software that I can think of that I already have that might be able to do the job, but after completing about 6 pages I'm ready to find something, anything, that will make the job faster and less of a pain. One problem I've already encountered with Publisher 98 is that I can't figure out how to move something from one page to another, which is going to be a *must*, especially further down the road. Maybe I'm just dreaming but I would like to be able to lay several pages side by side and rearrange between them until I get the right look on each page. Word... hmmm. Is that a good option for a task like this? I must admit that I've never used Word for much more than a gloryfied typewriter, though I know it can do more, I have never explored its abilities. Oh, except for a handful of times I used Word's draw tools to create some flow charts. Any suggestions/advice welcome!! Pam --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
