[mso] Re: Junk E-mail question

Can't remember if XP is internal or not...but previous versions has a
separate list called Junk Senders.txt and Adult Senders.txt that you can
locate on your hard drive and add/remove any keywords you want.

I still have mine, which I imported into 2003. You can now also export out
in 2003 (can't remember if you could do this in XP?) Anyway, it's a great
way to share junk mail lists with other systems or friends when you have a
big list. HA...I probably have a few million junk senders in my list now!

Outlook filters email based on built in criteria, in addition to those
senders you specifically identify. What happens is there is something in
the email that is junk email that meets the critera. You have no control of
the junk or adult email filter list as far as I know, it is built into
Outlook. What you can do is add those senders who frequently wind up in the
junk email folder to the exeption list. Somewhere on the MS site is a list
of the criteria it uses, but I can't find it right now. Maybe someone else
knows where it is, I remember having trouble finding it the last time I
looked for it.

This KB article talks more about it.
