Does the older computer have all the Office updates available for its version, including Internet Explorer? Is IE the default browser? (Its been a while, but IIRC earlier versions of Office needed IE as the default browser and fully up to date, for the version of Office installed). If all else fails, try this http://www.openoffice.org Its free, but no where near as powerful as MS Office. Cordially, Steven Fredette President http://www.prowebsites.net Indianapolis, Indiana. When I open the file in Word 2002, I see only place holders for the images. I opened this same file on two other computers, both of which are running Word 2003, and the images display normally on those PCs. Because I do all my editing (for a small newsletter) on the older PC running Word 2002, it doesn't help to see the images on the other computers. I tried saving this file from the Word2003 computer using "Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 - RTF (*.doc)" format, but the images still don't display on my older PC. I was able to extract the images using the Word2002 PC by saving as HTML file format, therefore, I could reconstruct the document, however, the original is elaborately formatted. Reconstruction would be a lot of work. Can you suggest a way to cause the imagers to render correctly on my Word2002 PC? Thanks for the help.
