Huh! Thanks for the updated info! I have no idea what's up either. I
know I also tried to hunt down some info on the net, but was
unsuccessful finding anything useful. I'd love to know what's up if you
ever feel adventurous and let her loose again!<eg>

Subject: [mso] Hyperlinks Working Now

Several weeks ago I asked for help with a hyperlink problem and received
several good suggestions, none of which worked. I do, however,
appreciate everyone's' input.

Since I could not get the hyperlinks working on the old PC, even after
uninstalling, erasing, and reinstalling Office 2000, I gave the intern a
newer PC that had Office 97 and the hyperlinks worked. I uninstalled
Office 97, used the Office 97 Eraser, then let HER install Office 2000
since she is "computer literate". Lo and behold, the hyperlinks would
not work in Office 2000! (She also installed Office 2000 on the old PC.)

I then took her old PC, reformatted the hard drive, reinstalled Windows
98 and Office 2000 and now hyperlinks work fine.

On her newer PC I uninstalled Office 2000, ran the Office 2000 Eraser,
used RegClean, and re-installed Office 2000 - still no hyperlinks! So I
reformatted the hard drive, reinstalled Windows 98, reinstalled Office
2000, and now hyperlinks work fine.

I have no idea what she did when she installed Office 2000, but I won't
let her near any of the other PCs here!
