[mso] Help with Excel formulas please

I am working in excel where I am trying to figure out the formula I would
use. This is going to be a date that could be any where on the
spreadsheet and 6 months before this month(not just today but the whole
month) I would like it to turn green and bold.
I also wondering if it is possible if one of those dates are bolded could I
make that person's name in Column A Bold and highlighted.
I do appreciate your help.
