Robert,
If you use the Developer Edition for this, you can make an Access
application that runs without Access. Depending on what you are trying to
accomplish with it, this may meet your needs.

To create those, you need to use something like C++ or VB. VBA *means*
Visual Basic for APPLICATIONS! They NEED a host app to run. So you MUST
have SOME PROGRAM to run the VBA. -snip-

I was sorta afraid of that. Ok, then I will tell my client he has to buy at
least Office 97 or higher. He wants some Excel for his "Quickie Drive Inn."
(Think Super fast food. He cooks the food all day, and there is no waiting.
I can go in and order something ridiculous like 5-quarter pound hamburgers
plain, and it is in my hand faster than I am paying for it!)
