Actually, this often has to do with extra tabs and spaces in a line, or it
can be a font substitution issue. It's got nothing to do with monitor size
or resolution.

The extra tabs and spaces are usually an issue when viewing a 97
presentation in 2000, though. 2000 will recognize those extra spaces before
tabs in a textbox, whereas 97 will just ignore them. It makes for some
messed-up columns. But I doubt that's the problem here.

What I really suspect is a font substitution issue. Say Glenda used Arial in
her presentation, but you don't have Arial on your machine. Windows/PPT
would automatically substitute what it considers the closest font--probably
Helvetica for Arial. Helvetica is wider than Arial, so you could see odd
wraps.

The resolution is to embed the fonts, but some fonts can't be fully
embedded. It also increases the size of the presentation. See
