I came across a weird one today when I was teaching a private class. This student of mine made up a simple form which he saved as a template to use as his Fax cover letter. It's real basic. Simple text fields for date, name, etc. and a simple text field where he can input a message explaining what is included in the fax. He also made up a few simple text files for these messages that he just copy/pastes into the message part of this form when he wants to put it with a fax. The weird thing is that every time he pastes one of these into this text field, it is underlined. I have checked everywhere to see where the underlining is coming from and I can't find it anywhere. The field is not underlined and if he manually types something into it, it does NOT get underlined....only when he pastes something into it. The only way I can paste anything into any of the fields in his forms without it getting underlined is to unprotect the form first...then the text pasted in is NOT underlined. And if I paste something into the form when is IS protected, after I get the lines, I can remove them by highlighting it all and going to Borders and Shading and choosing "none" in borders, which is already chosen, but if I choose it again, it removes the underlines. Detect and repair didn't fix it. Making the form all over from scratch didn't fix it. Recreating the text in a new text file and copy/pasting it from there didn't fix it either. Anybody ever see anything like this?
