Ok...first the tasks question....I'm not sure what you mean exactly by
"linking" tasks...but if you just want them grouped together, you can
click on the categories button and assign the tasks to a category (you
make create any category you want...then, in your tasks, go to the View
menu and select By Category and this will keep them all together that
way...but, I guess if this isn't what you want, I would want to know
what you mean by "linking" two tasks together

Now for the journaling....I don't use it much cuz I find it to be a
MAJOR resource hog and makes Outlook perform really slowly....but, you
can just drag a task from the task folder into the journal folder and it
will be added to your journal.

2002 questions

Thanks Linda,
Did detect and repair function seems to have done the trick with the
control-c problem.

Two more questions for you both concerning Outlook 2002

Firstly is there any way of using in a standalone situation the journal
function as a diary of when tests were completed? I know it will record
phone calls and files used but I can't seem to get it to record when
tasks were completed.

Second question, is there any way of linking tasks? On the bottom of a
task window there are boxes for assigning of a category and also for
linking the task with contacts it would be nice to be able to link two
tasks in the same way?
