Thanks Linda,
Did detect and repair function seems to have done the trick with the
control-c problem.

Two more questions for you both concerning Outlook 2002

Firstly is there any way of using in a standalone situation the journal
function as a diary of when tests were completed? I know it will record
phone calls and files used but I can't seem to get it to record when
tasks were completed.

Second question, is there any way of linking tasks? On the bottom of a
task window there are boxes for assigning of a category and also for
linking the task with contacts it would be nice to be able to link two
tasks in the same way?

                Hi all,

When I use control-c in Outlook( using word as the
editor) in order to paste something when I am answering a reply to a
message I get a box that says
"Microsoft Word - An outgoing call cannot be made
---since an incoming synchronous call is being made"
                Any ideas why?
