Just an FYI...I don't know how to do this with Excel and not sure how to
do it directly within Access itself...but I do know it's possible from
Word and also from an ASP page on the web. So it's probably possible the
other two ways, too. You just need to run a query that would create a
recordset of only those items that meet the criteria of the agents, such
as their matched ID number. Then display those results.

Subject: [mso] Excel / Access Security

The head of our commercial leasing department has requested that I
create a database or spreadsheet for information on leased properties,
including square footages, tenants, lease terms, expiration dates,
owner, leasing agent, etc., etc.

That is no problem, but the kicker is that he wants secure the
information so that he and I have access to all of the information, but
the individual leasing agents only have access to the information for
properties on which they are the leasing agent and to the statistical
summaries. Is that possible in Excel or Access?

I appreciate your help on this.
