A friend asked me to help him with a problem he's having with an Excel spreadsheet (Excel 2007). Apparently he receives a spreadsheet from a customer. He is able to open it and make changes and saves it. Then later, when he tries to open the spreadsheet again, he gets the following error messages: [snip] Excel found unreadable content in Do you want to recover the contents of this wokbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click yes. [/snip] Then [snip] Removed Feature: External formula reference from /xl/externalLinks/externalLink8.xml part (Cached values from external formula reference) Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet62.xml part Removed Records: Formula from /xl/calcChain.xml part (Calculation properties) [/snip] WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS STUFF MEAN? A Google search doesn't provide any useful links.
