While Linda's solution is best for a "permanent" solution, an alternative
solution to the one given below is to simply use Ctrl-Z upon leaving the
cell. This undoes the Auto Correct and does not delete the contents of the
cell (and saves moving your hand to the mouse. (PS This also works in Word
and PowerPoint.)

context menu. At last you find an option called
"Remove Hyperlink". Hope this would solve your
