Hi Jeff...that's cuz he's using WordPerfect options....tell him to go into
Word's Tools menu and click on Options...in there, tell him to click on the
General tab and UNCHECK "Help for WordPerfect users" and "Navigaton for Word
Perfect users"....one of them causes this (but I can't remember which one)

I have a friend who somehow has now got his MS Word asking Delete Yes/No
down in the left corner of status bar whenever he selects text and tries
to then press
Delete key. He has to press again to delete. How does this get turned
on and off?
