To Tools/Options/General and turn off the two setting for Word Perfect
help and user keys. Then also set to smart delete. Sorry, it's in there
somewhere and can't check right now, where.

Ok what do I set to get this to work?
New Computer and new set up so?
Office 2002 Pro.
When I mark a Block to delete it will not delete with the delete key ?
the only way seems to be with the Space key and then you have a extra
space?? It come up with this in the left hand corner of the screen ?
DELETE BLOCK NO (Yes)
I have looked every where for this answer nothing I look through the
Archives also BUT People Change the subject lines It sure helps when
we need the search the archives! <g>
