Sounds like you have your field codes turned on for viewing...hit alt+F9 to
see if that fixes it.

I now have another quirky thing going on with a form I've created in Word
2000. My check boxes are not displaying properly...they look as though they
have bolded brackets on either side. Any hints about what might cause this?
