I am trying to create a budget spreadsheet. I have most of it done but
I think there is a more efficient way of doing it. I started to write
down what I would like to do but it was becoming to confusing, but below
is an idea of what I would like to do. Is there any one I can send a
screen shot of the document to give you a better understanding or any
one that can help me?

In Worksheet *A* I want a drop down box has different words and would be
placed in column F.
In that row there will be a date in column C.
In that row there will also be a money amount in column H.

For each month I have a different tab. In each tab there is categories
(which will be the same as what is in the drop down box in WORKSHEET
*A*.)
Each time something is entered in WORKSHEET A, I want it to fill out
some information such as date, amount title and I want that amount to
be put in the category.
