Ok LaShay. Evidently you are using Win XP or 2k or NT and that is why your
shellnew folder is located in WINNT....I have updated the online version of
Vic's article to reflect this information...thanks for the heads up

No, there is no formatting problem. I THOUGHT I read
two slashes. :-)
I rebooted my computer and got the same error message
but I see where the problem is:
The path in the ABC article is
C:\Windows\ShellNew\Blank.msg
When I try to hunt for the file after I created it, it
is located at C:\WINNT\ShellNew\Blank.msg
I will rename the path in the registry editor and see
if that does the trick.
