Judith--

Because of the special way Access stores date/time data, to properly
calculate based in such fields you should use the easy-to-understand DateAdd
and DateDiff functions; you can find information on both in Access help.

Subject: [mso] Access subtracting hours/minutes/seconds

Hi all!
I have a StartTime, EndTime and a Length. StartTime and EndTime record hours
minutes and seconds. Length gets the answer as set up
=[EndTime]-[StartTime]. It only works when there are numbers in the minutes
and/or seconds but when there is a number in the hours it does not sutract
correctly.
I would really appreciate some help on this one.
Sorry to be so wordy.
Judith
