Lets see if I can correctly explain what I want to accomplish. I have 2 spreadsheets of inventory data that I have imported into a new database as 2 seperate tables. Each table now has fields containing 'partnumber' and 'serialnumber' along with various other fields. What I want to do is compare the 2 tables, possibly generate a new combined table, or at least a report that shows ONLY the partnumbers and serialnumbers that are in both table, note each table contains other fields that I want to carry over into the new table or report. Entries that ARE NOT in both tables should be ignored. I've tried to build a quiry for this, but I havn't had any positive results yet. Unfortunately the class I just attended Tuesday didn't deal with multiple tables and the instructor refused to answer my questions except to say that would be covered in a higher level class which isn't available until mid next month. Any help is Greatly appreciated.
