I have a list of 110 items in a Word document. I created the list unnumbered so I went to format>bullets and numbering>numbers tab>the first option of a numeral followed by a period. When I click okay list items 1-99 are perfect with the item one space to the right of the number. Once it gets to 100 though it adds 4 or 5 blank spaces between the number and the text, maybe the width of one tab stop. I changed the font of the numbers only numbers 1-10 were correct and everything else had the space. I tried several other fonts and they were all like the first problem. I looked in the help file but it just says how to bullet or number an exisitng list. I am using Word 2002. I would like to hear any suggestions.
