[msexchange] Exchange 55 admin tools

I did not setup our exchange 55 cluster on windows 2000, but the person that
did told me not to run the exchange admin tools directly on the cluster.
Why? Its not even installed. But I need to install it to run some software.
Anyone have a good reason for me not to install the exchange 55 admin tools
on 1 node of the cluster?
