Hi all,
The last time that I saw Joyce was back in 1984 or maybe 1983, because I hadn’t
gone for my Leader dog yet then. I was taking some training at the Visually
Impaired Center in Flint then and I ran in to Joyce there while I was waiting
for my ride to come and pick me up to head home. I don’t remember seeing her
with a dog then though.
I do’'n’’t know how she died, but I had heard from Loleita McLain-Winans
several years ago that she had died. I also heard that she had a daughter named
Beth. Has anyone heard the whereabouts of her daughter Beth?
No, I think it was in the mid to late 70’s like maybe 77 or 78 that I had seen
herd in Flint because I remember my son was in grade school when I attended the
Visually Impaired center, taking a course in Medical Transcription. I had gone
to Chicago in the fall of 1970 –71 but came home in the spring of ‘71. So I
think it was more like ‘78 maybe 79 when I last saw Joyce.
