Thanks to all for the birthday wishes.
It's been a bitter-sweet day. I've received lots of calls and e-mails
from my wonderful friends,
but the love of my life is gone, so there have been some tears as well.
Also, hearing the news of Jim's passing has been a shock.
I went out to dinner with friends, which was fun and interesting. We went
to a Japanese restaurant, where we had the hibachi choice. I had the
shrimp and scallops combo, along with fried rice and vegetables, and of
course a couple of vodka and cranberry drinks in Rob's honor.
This is another first, so it's been hard. Thanks for all of your good
wishes.
