Remember too Steve, you being a day student really limited you in getting to
know him. Also, his age suggests that he should have been in the class of 69
or 70.
Mark Martin, 73.

I'm sorry to say I don't remember him at all, even though he was from my
class.
I suspect he was in a different learning section, not the college-prep and I
didn't really know many of the people that were in orchestra.
Oh, by the way, I saw an article about a judge issuing an injunction in a
Ferris State University faculty strike. I sent Mimi a message, and the judge
was her husband -- Scott Hill-Kennedy.

Martin Wallen was someone who this world could learn peace and goodness from.
I'm sure the universe has a gentle soul among the angels. RIP old friend.

Hi Mark,
Thank you and Jennifer for taking the time to research folks from our
past.
One more thing regarding Martin. I don't recall anybody having a bad
word toward him in any way.
Rob and I were going through some challenging financial times when Martin
and I were working together.
He was the bright part of my day.
rest in peace, Martin.

My daughter does quite a bit of internet researching, and I told her that
sometimes I think of names and try to find out where they are, and she asked me
for some names. She simply starts out with a google search. I don't know if I
will remember every name I gave her yesterday, but here is what I remember.
Jim Schraeder is still living as far as we could tell. I then asked her to
search David Hoban since we knew he was deceased and she found him. Richard
McCloud passed away in 2009. Some years ago there was some concern about
Vickie Bose. We did not find any information about her being deceased.

Wow Mark it is sad to hear this. I think he was in the graduating class
of 1972. I will have to go look in the 1972 year book. I am just inquisitive,
how did you come across Martin's obituary?
