Hi again,

Another report, now samba stream transfers works, so its seems important
to configure samba properly at it seems Miamidx does stuff automaticly
that Mosnet dont, so after finetuning the samba conf file,
it works pretty well both ways now.

Transfers are ok, but if speed can be adjusted more lets not stop :)

One interesting line in samba config is this :

socket options = so_rcvbuf=2048 so_sndbuf=2048

without this line its veeery slow....uncommenting this line and
the movie flies, but with miamidx it works without this line.

So maybe Miamidx have more internal 'talk' to the different network
services or something.

Also setting this higher results in low speed transfers, if i use

socket options = so_rcvbuf=8192 so_sndbuf=8192

movies will stutter and not play well.

I also added :

MBUF_CONF Initial = 2
MBUF_CONF Chunk = 64
MBUF_CONF ClChunk = 4
MBUF_CONF MaxMem = 2048
MBUF_CONF ClusterSize = 2048

to mosnet general config, but i havent checked if this makes a
difference.

All tests are done using the internal network card on pegasos.

Hope this helps
